designed curriculum-based programming to address healing holistically (mind, body, spirit) examples included: psycho education, art therapy, trauma-informed yoga, healing circles, self care workshops, and writing workshops
orchestrated the body’s launch and fundraiser kickoff on March 1st 2020 called “mybodymyhome” — transformed our interpretations of healing, self-love, and wellness into 3 hour activation
included art installation, book swap + reading corner, interactive timeline on exploitation of the black female body, on-site facials, film screening, panel discussion, and photo set design reminiscent of “your grandma’s living room”
spearheaded consultation process involving three black women psychologists & trauma-informed healers to revamp programming & train team in trauma-informed practices
